2. day (3rd October): Field trip

Option A - Štiavnicá composite volcano led by Jaroslav Lexa

Option B - Metallogeny of the Štiavnicá volcanic area led by Peter Koděra

Due to limited availability, places will be filled in the order of registration.

After the field trips, both groups will make a short visit to Banská Štiavnicá, the historical UNESCO World Heritage silver mining town and join together for the gala diner. The bus will then return to Nagybörzsöny.

3. day (4th October): Oral presentations and poster session

Brhlovce – 4^th post-caldera stage, Baďan Fm.: succession of shallow marine epiclastic volcanic sandstones, pumiceous sandstones and reworked pumice tuffs

Počúvadlo – 4^th post-caldera stage, Drastvica Fm.: welded ignimbrite of bt-amph-px andesite
