- 1998 M.Sc. in Geology, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. Title of the M.Sc. thesis: Mineralogy and genesis of metacinnabar from Róka Hill Budapest, Hungary. Supervisor: Dr. István Dódony

- 2004 Ph.D. in Mineralogy, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. Title of the Ph.D. thesis: Crystal structural, crystal chemical and mineralogical aspects of the metal ion adsorption on montmorillonites. Supervisor: Dr. Péter Árkai.

Present position: senior research fellow
